This is the initial public relase of USAID's NTD Database, managed by ENVISION. This release includes the core features for maintaining, managing, and reporting data included in Program and Disease workbook templates.Additional workbook types and features are planned for the next release.

Features: 

The following major features are available to users depending on their assigned roles in the NTD Database:

  • Creating, editing and managing user profiles
  • Managing geography, including creating, editing and deleting regions and districts
  • Managing blank workbook templates
  • Generating workbooks to be completed by other users
  • Downloading workbook templates to be completed offline
  • Submitting completed workbook templates
  • Tracking the status of data submissions
  • Reviewing and approving data submissions
  • Editing data submissions online
  • Requesting approval of a data submission from the Ministry of Health
  • Viewing reports of appoved data and downloading report data
  • Accessing the online context-sensitive User Guide
  • Accessing Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and their answers
  • Accessing other relevant resources

Supported spreadsheet software:

  • Microsoft Excel 2013
  • Microsoft Excel 2010

Known Issues: 

  • This version of the NTD Database supports Program and Disease workbooks v3.2.1 only. Previous versions of these workbooks will require some changes before they can be submitted successfully. The NTD Database will display detailed error messages explaining the reasons for rejecting any workbook submission.
